As I first set foot in the vibrant city, my eyes were immediately drawn to the iconic silhouette of the CN Tower in the distance. The sight of this architectural marvel filled me with an overwhelming sense of excitement and wonder. Having only seen the tower in movies and photographs before, the realization that I was now just a short distance away from this towering landmark was surreal. So once I was settled I decided to go see the CN Tower upclose, the anticipation built with every step, and as I got closer, the sheer magnitude of the structure became even more awe-inspiring.
You have to purchase tickets to enter the CN Tower but with it being such a famous landmark in Toronto I would say it is totally worth it and a must do.
You can buy tickets online or even at the desk, I would suggest buying online as this could speed up the process slightly, it can get rather hectic around that area and the queue's to enter the tower can get very long. You do not want to be waiting outdoors in Candian summer weather as it can get rather hot or the winter weather as it can get very cold. It is also best to check the website as here you can choose what type of ticket you would like, they have different sections to the tower, you can visit the main floor or the upper deck which takes you even higher!!!!!
Once I had purchased my tickets I went in and it's great inside, some of the things you can find are:
Observation Levels: The CN Tower offers multiple observation levels that provide breathtaking panoramic views of Toronto and its surroundings. The LookOut Level, situated at 346 meters (1,136 feet), offers indoor and outdoor viewing areas, while the SkyPod, at 447 meters (1,465 feet), provides an even higher vantage point.
Glass Floor: One of the most thrilling experiences inside the CN Tower is the Glass Floor, located on the LookOut Level. It allows visitors to walk on a transparent floor, providing a dizzying view straight down to the ground.
360 Restaurant: The CN Tower is home to the 360 Restaurant, a revolving restaurant located on the LookOut Level. Visitors can enjoy fine dining while the restaurant slowly rotates, offering a changing view of the city.
EdgeWalk: For the more adventurous, the CN Tower offers the EdgeWalk, an outdoor hands-free walk around the tower's main pod. Participants are harnessed to an overhead rail system while walking on a 1.5-meter-wide ledge that encircles the top of the tower
Gift Shops and Dining: Inside the CN Tower, you'll find gift shops where you can purchase souvenirs, as well as dining options beyond the 360 Restaurant. These include casual eateries and cafes.
CN Tower History Museum: The base of the CN Tower houses a museum that provides insights into the history and construction of the tower. Exhibits showcase the engineering marvel that is the CN Tower.
The views from the observation levels of the CN Tower are nothing short of spectacular, offering an unparalleled panorama of Toronto and its surroundings. You know the really tall buildings you walk past all the time, well this allows you to see a birdseye view of those, so you can only imagine how high up you are and how amazing the views must be.
They even have a glass floor where you can see straight down below, walking across that was kind of scary for sure, but super fun!!!!
some picture's for you from the observation level.
This really was a great experience and the views were even better. This for me was a must see and I would say if anyone is ever in Toronto, the CN tower should be on your list of places to visit.
